A Robotics Anthology

The Museum für Kommunikation in Bern plans a new permanent exhibition "As Time Goes Byte" on digital culture. The topics include technologies such as virtual reality, net-art, computer games as well as robotics. There will also be information consoles with interactive anthologies. An anthology is a collection of entries, not necessarily complete and objective, providing an overview on a given topic.
 

Nurobot delivered an anthology on robotics with thirty entries grouped into five subtopics and aligned along a timeline from 1709 to the present. We carried out a comprehensive enquiry which lead to a choice of events, projects, robots and persons that are outstanding for the field. The entries had to be in a condensed yet easy-to-understand textual form including iconographical material.

The exhibition will open its doors in 2007.
